Getting Proteum editor to work?

I've got a problem with proteum

I cannot get the parameters to change, if i click on a parameter it sets to zero and cannot be changed, if i click on a box no drop downs open!

i've tried 2 diff comps and interfaces.

I so much want to use an on screen editor!!

Any ideas?

Is this the new version of the software? I have not tried it out yet but will tonight and see what i get.
